A World War I comedy
In The Trenches is a fast moving, dark comedy set in World War I France. We follow a group of young Canadians as they fight through life and the realization that bullets and shells are the least of their problems. Through eight hilariously moving vignettes, this mishmash of characters takes us on an intimate journey as they fight the enemy, around and within.
